2) Playing HDMI (without ARC) - Better choice
Connect to a TV that is not compatible with the ARC (Audio Return Channel) function using the HDMI cable and audio input cable.
Connect your television with an HDMI connector to HDMI OUT (ARC) on your HEOS HomeCinema using the included HDMI cable.
Connect your television to your HEOS HomeCinema using either an included digital optical cable or a digital coaxial cable (not included).
Select “TV” from the music tab.
Select the name of the HEOS HomeCinema to which you connected the television in step 1 and 2.
The sound from your television can be played directly on the HEOS HomeCinema.
NOTE
The TV audio cannot be played back on this unit when it is only connected with the HDMI cable.
