Power operation button ( Power Button )

Turns power to this unit on and off (standby).

When CLOCK MODE is turned on, this button switches between normal mode and Clock mode. link

Power indicator

The power indicator changes as shown below according to the status of the unit.

Power on : Green

Normal Standby : Off

iPod charge standby : Red link

Alarm standby: Orange link

Display

Various information is displayed here.

Remote control sensor

This receives signals from the remote control unit. link

Disc tray open/close button ( Triangle-Underline )

Used to open/close the disc tray.

Play/Pause button ( Triangle Right / Pause )

Stop button ( Square Black ) (for continental model only)
Band/Stop button ( Square Black ) (for RCD-M40DAB model only)

USB port

Used to connect iPod or USB memory devices. link

Disc tray

Tray used to insert a compact disc.

Headphones jack (PHONES)

When the headphones are plugged into this jack, audio will no longer be output from the connected speakers.

NOTE

To prevent hearing loss, do not raise the volume level excessively when using headphones.

SOURCE button

These select the input source.

VOLUME knob

This adjusts the volume level.

Preset/Tuning buttons ( Skip-Left /–, +/ Skip-Right )
